Bathroom Refresh

This project transformed a dated 1960s bathroom in Featherston that was in need of some TLC into a funky and unique cottage-style space full of character. Originally made up of a separate shower and bathroom, the layout was opened up by removing the dividing wall, creating a more practical and free-flowing space. Panelling and a dado rail were added to bring texture and character to the room.

A window in the former separate toilet was also removed to allow for a mirror in the new layout, helping create a more functional and cohesive finish.

A brass sink sourced from France was installed to add rustic character, while panelling was built around the existing bath to tie everything together. Waterproof lining was also incorporated, allowing the bath to function as a shower bath and making better use of the space.
