Born and raised in the Wairarapa, Angus is now raising his own family here.

Over the years, he’s worked on everything from 1890s villa restorations and farm cottages to new builds and even renovations in the French Alps. While every project is different, one thing never changes, the care, pride and attention to detail he brings to every job.

Growing up on his family’s Wairarapa farm taught Angus to be practical, resourceful and to find solutions when others see problems. It’s a mindset that’s stayed with him throughout his building career.

What also makes Little River Building Company different is the way Angus works with people. Having studied psychology alongside building, he understands that renovating or building a home isn’t just a construction project, it’s a personal one.

​

Some of the most meaningful work Angus has done has been on Trust House homes, helping give families in need a safe, warm, comfortable place to live. He’s seen firsthand what a difference a well-built home makes to a family’s life. It’s a big part of why he does this work.

When Angus is not building, he makes the most of everything the Wairarapa has to offer, diving along the coastline, out fishing, or fly fishing around the region.
