MEET ANGUS
The Builder
Behind
The Business
Angus has worked on everything from 1890s villa restorations to French Alps renovations, farm cottages to new builds. What stays the same in every job is the care he brings to it.
Before moving fully into building, Angus worked on his family farm, where he developed the practical, can-do “farmer fix-it” attitude he’s known for today, the kind that finds a way to make things work, no matter the challenge.
Alongside building, Angus also spent time studying psychology, something that shaped the way he works with people just as much as the way he builds. He understands that having work done on your home can feel stressful and overwhelming at times, which is why communication, honesty, and making clients feel comfortable are such a big part of how he works.
Now living in the Wairarapa with his young family, Angus understands better than most just how important it is to have a home that’s functional, comfortable, and built to last. He builds because he knows what home means to the people living in it.
Some of the most meaningful work Angus has done has been on Trust House homes, helping give families in need a safe, warm, comfortable place to live. He’s seen firsthand what a difference a well-built home makes to a family’s life. It’s a big part of why he does this work.
When Angus is not building, he makes the most of everything the Wairarapa has to offer — diving along the coastline, out fishing, or fly fishing around the region. It’s the kind of lifestyle that keeps him grounded.
