Laundry Renovation

This project gave new life to a Featherston 1960s laundry in need of TLC, transforming it into a warm, inviting, and functional space that makes everyday washing and organising feel simple and enjoyable.

The original concrete sink was replaced with an identical one, as the existing unit was in poor condition with visible cracks but wanted to keep the character of the original sink. The new sink has become a feature piece within the space, with a custom-built frame designed to support it and tie in with the surrounding shelving, creating a cohesive look.

​Adding panelling to the walls brings texture and character to the room, creating warmth. Cabinetry removed during the kitchen renovation was carefully reused and custom fitted into the space, giving the units a second life while providing practical storage, reducing waste, and saving on costs.
